Delovaya Rossiya discussed the prospects for the development of low-tonnage chemistry

On May 29, on the eve of the Chemist's Day, the Chemical Industry Committee of Delovaya Rossiya held a video conference on the prospects for the development of low-tonnage chemistry.

The event was attended by the General Director of Titan-Polymer Ltd German Petrushko, as well as over 80 representatives of business, scientific community, regional authorities and students of profession-oriented universities. The speakers were the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail Ivanov, President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Ivanov, Rector of the Russian Chemical Technology University named after D.I. Mendeleev Alexander Mazhuga.

Industry business representatives shared their vision of the situation in the industry and spoke about the challenges they had faced recently.

At the end of the meeting, Mikhail Sutyaginsky congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming Chemist's Day, which is celebrated on the 31st of May. “The development of low-tonnage chemistry today acquires completely new value and is arouses even more interest from all sides,” he noted. The head of the committee also assured the meeting participants that the issues raised during the meeting would be systematized and, if possible, formulated in the form of initiatives and proposals that would help the development of low-tonnage chemistry in Russia.
