Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the "Titan-Polymer" plant in the Pskov region via video conference call

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the "Titan-Polymer" plant in the Pskov region via video conference call on Wednesday.

Mikhail Sutyaginsky, the "Titan Group" Board of Directors` Chairman, asked the head of State`s permission for the launch during the ceremony. "Good luck! Let's get down to work," said Vladimir Putin.

The President thanked all the plant's employees. "I hope that next year we will have even more launches of such high-tech productions," said the Head of State.

The PET pellet (polyethylene terephthalate) manufacturing plant is one of the anchor residents of the special economic zone "Moglino". The production facility is unique to Russia. It makes it possible to produce all types of polymers and will provide the country with raw materials which are currently imported. Almost 10 billion roubles have been invested into the factory's development.

According to the estimation of Pskov regional authorities, the volume of private investments of the project implementation after "Titan-Polymer" plant launch will not be less than 17,6 billion roubles. Besides, it is planned to create more than 500 working places after the production start-up. There are more than 200 enterprises cooperating with the "Titan Group", particularly, forwarding and logistics companies, building business organizations manufacturing and trading in construction materials, and security companies.
