Almost 6 billion rubles have already been invested in the construction of the Titan-Polymer plant

About 6 billion rubles have already been invested in the construction of Titan-Polymer plant in Moglino SEZ. This was informed at a press conference of German Petrushko, General Director of Pskov Titan-Polymer plant, talking about the stage at which the project is being implemented.

“We are continuing to perform construction works. The project is not easy, it requires special solutions, so not everything goes as fast as we would like. In addition, the pandemic also did its job, as it did throughout the country. Nevertheless, we are trying to keep within the previously indicated deadlines,” said the plant’s head. “Up to date, 5 billion 620 million rubles have been invested in the project. In general, the planned volume of investments accounts for 19 billion 440 million rubles.”

German Petrushko also stressed that Titan-Polymer plant by definition would become the basis for the creation of a whole group of small and medium-scale enterprises, which should be built on the territory of the special economic zone in the industrial technopark format.

“We are ready to develop the manufacture of finished products, create comfortable conditions for the joint use of infrastructure. It is planned to introduce innovative solutions and high-tech developments at the technopark site, taking into consideration the advanced experience of the scientific community,” added German Petrushko. In general, the creation of an industrial technopark, according to him, will contribute not only to an increase of investment in Moglino, but also to the creation of additional jobs and, as a consequence, to an increase of tax payments to the regional budget.

In addition, German Petrushko expressed his thanks to the administration of Pskov region represented by the Governor Mikhail Vedernikov and Vice-Governor Ninel Salagayeva for the tremendous work that had preceded Titan-Polymer project commencement. "Without their efforts, our far-reaching plans might not have happened,” he summed up.
