Delegation of the Russian-Chinese Business Council visits Pskov plant “Titan-Polymer”

A delegation of the Russian-Chinese Business Council visited “Titan-Polymer” plant located in the “Moglino” SEZ in the Pskov region.

During the business trip, members of the Council, together with representatives of the Pskov region Government, were introduced to modern technologies for manufacturing import-substituting product – BOPET-films. Polymer products of the plant are in high demand in pharmacy, in the production of medical drugs and food packaging, and in other areas.

The delegation members had an opportunity to see the complete cycle of BOPET-film production: from charging raw materials to sending finished goods to the warehouse. The participants were also introduced to the wide product range of the plant.

“As of today, we’ve launched the homologation process of domestically produced PET pellets, during which we’re testing the quality specifications of Russian feedstock. It is an important step to produce BOPET-film of high quality”, General Director of “Titan-Polymer” Kirill Neretin noted.

The outcome of the meeting was mutual agreements on possible cooperation with Chinese partners.

The Russian-Chinese Business Council is established to promote and support bilateral economic projects, to develop cooperation between Russian and Chinese business communities. The organization includes the largest Russian companies and associations of entrepreneurs that do business with China.

The plant is one of the main residents of the “Moglino” SEZ (Pskov region).

The first stage of the investment project to create import-substituting production of BOPET-film was launched in 2022.
