German Petrushko: Business should create a favorable environment for people

German Petrushko, Titan-Polymer Plant General Director, participated in the event dedicated to Tyamsha Village Day celebration. The concert dedicated to the event took place in the renovated Tyamsha Community Center. The building was renovated within the framework of social partnership with Titan-Polymer Plant.

"We support and participate in all significant events taking place and being important to Pskov Region. Including the countrywide fundraising for construction of a memorial sign in honor of the Victory Banner in Idritsa, support of environmental projects, assistance to needy families, and resource support of social facilities. We assisted to renovate the Community Center in Tyamsha over the summer. It's been a big deal and this is just the beginning.   It makes us feel good to know that we have become a piece of the village's life. I believe that business should invest both in the development of industrial production and create favorable living environment," said German Petrushko, General Director of Titan-Polymer Plant.

About 300 persons are being engaged in the Community Center activities these days. There are vocal, choreographic, folk groups, arts and crafts activities. About seven rooms were renovated by the beginning of the school year - the entrance section (porch, canopy, yard), foyer, choreography hall, a checkroom for visitors was arranged, and windows were partially replaced. One of the renovated rooms of the Community Center has been transformed into a volunteer center, which will start working in mid-September. In addition, the sewage system in the building was replaced and WCs were repaired (before they were unusable), as well as the passage to the concert hall was renovated - the walls were repainted and suspended ceilings were installed.

More than two million rubles were provided for the repair works.

"Tyamsha is being developed and steadily moving forward. Public spaces, sidewalks, and parking lots are being improved, and the reconstruction of courtyard area has been planned within the framework of Comfortable Urban Environment Formation Program. And probably the most illustrative thing of improving the quality of living in the village in 2021 is the repair of Tyamsha Community Center, within the framework of social partnership between Pskov District Administration and Pskov Plant Titan-Polymer, when significantly transformed Community Center invited visitors for the Village Day celebrations," - said Natalia Fedorova, Head of Pskov District.

It should be added that it has also been planned to renovate the village health post in Tyamsha within the framework of Titan-Polymer Plant's social program. Repair works will start this year.
