German Petrushko: Today import substitution program becomes even more relevant than before

“Titan-Polymer plant operates as per normal and even hires more people”, made known German Petrushko, General Director of Titan-Polymer.

The leading manager of the enterprise assured that multiple anti-crisis measures were taken after advising with experts in order to minimize the impact of the sanctions on the growing investment project. The designed plan was submitted to the Administration of the Pskov region for approval. At present, consultations with the authorities continue. The final package of measures will be adopted first at the local level and then at the federal level, including the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Industry Development Fund. According to German Petrushko, all these measures are absolutely feasible.

"We have revised our work due to current economic situation. We consider new selling markets for our products and new suppliers. I believe that many companies will take advantage of the latest developments and make a use of new import-substituting opportunities," said Petrushko.

Earlier products of Titan-Polymer Plant were considered as import substitution in the chemical industry which was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Committee on Chemical Industry of "Business Russia" submitted to the Russian Government several proposals of business support in the current economic situation as well.
