Natalia Lykova: We expect to find new employees by organizing “Leader of the Year” contest

The current situation in the job market is difficult. The demand for professionals remains strong. This problem can be solved by organizing a regional staff contest “Leader of the Year”. It was reported by head of HR Department of Titan-Polymer Natalia Lykova during the round table held at the PIA media center.

The enterprise expects to find worthy employees by organizing the contest.

Natalia Lykova emphasized that the plant strongly needed qualified specialists and workers, including IT specialists: software technicians, software engineers, system administrators, and instrumentation and control engineers.

The region is experiencing a shortage of candidates in these areas.

“We are looking for candidates in different regions of Russia. We sometimes revise work conditions and staff motivation. We have such supporting measures as changing labor compensation for certain positions, development opportunity and career prospects. We are ready to consider both applicants of a long experience and young professionals without work experience,” Natalia Lykova said.

A training system is being implemented in connection with the need to maintain new high-tech equipment and automated lines. It includes a mentoring system for the adaptation and inclusion of new employees into the process and the formation of a personnel reserve.

The priority HR-objectives for Titan-Polymer plant now is staffing, creation of an employee incentive system, which includes an extended social package to increase employee engagement and motivation.

We would like to add that 265 employees work at Titan-Polymer plant as of November. More than 90 vacancies were opened.
