Over 80 Titan-Polymer employees upgraded their qualifications or underwent extra tuition

Over 80 employees of the Titan-Polymer plant were able to upgrade their qualifications or undergo extra training in the first half of 2023. These services are provided by the "SEMS" training center.

The top three most in-demand fields were such directions as " Working with hoisting devices and control panels from the ground" (26 people), " Strapping operator" (19 people), "Working with high-pressure vessels" (15 people).

The plant's employees were also trained in working at heights, studied the forklift driver's occupation, underwent fire safety training, as well as upgrading their qualifications in industrial safety and ecology. Besides, 18 people were trained in first aid skills.

Cooperation between ANCO FVE (Further Vocational Education) Training Center "SEMS" and "Titan-Polymer" has started since 2020. The Training Center uses part-time distance learning with the use of Internet technologies. This is a modern way of gaining knowledge without compromising the production process. Such form of training became especially popular after the lockdown measures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, when educational institutions turned to remote education. Practical classes, if they are part of the curriculum, are held in full-time format on the Training Center's facilities.

"Titan-Polymer" is one of the largest customers of the training center's educational services in the Pskov region. Over the last two years, the number of requests for employee training in the following fields has increased: hoisting machine operator, strapping operator, and personnel working with pressure vessels. The increase in demand for these fields indicates the growth in the number of jobs for the city's and region's residents and the company's progress. The Titan-Polymer plant is a reliable business Partner, during the whole cooperation period it has faithfully fulfilled its obligations within the framework of the signed Contract. We are pleased with further effective cooperation", - commented Tatiana Nevmyvakina, the Department Head of the ANCO Further Vocational Education Department of the Training Center "SEMS".
