SPIEF-2023: "Titan" Group of Companies Signed the Agreement for BOPET Films Supply

At the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum the Agreement for cooperation on the BOPET film supplies was signed between the Titan-Polymer plant and the “Conflex SPb” Company. The Agreement was signed at the Pskov region's booth.

St. Petersburg Company "Conflex SPb" has been producing packaging for food products and day-to-day consumer goods since 2001, occupying one of the leading positions in the industry, cooperating with the largest food and light industry enterprises of the Russian Federation.

"Even at the stage of the investment project implementation we stated that Titan-Polymer plant will supply BOPET films to the national market. At the moment the existing capacities in Russia cannot cover all processor needs, i.e. there is a shortage of this product, which "Titan-Polymer" plant is to eliminate", - noted Olga Tarasenko, General Director of "Titan" Group of Companies JSC.

Recall that on December 28, 2022 the Russian President - Vladimir Putin launched the Titan-Polymer plant via videoconference. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation - Denis Manturov, the Governor of the Pskov region - Mikhail Vedernikov and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Titan" Group of Companies JSC - Mikhail Sutyaginsky also took part in the opening ceremony. Products of Pskov Titan-Polymer plant will eliminate the BOPET film shortage at the home market and will close the import of this product.
