Titan Group organized trip to Pskov for Eco-School participant

Tatyana Masterskikh, participant of Eco-School of Modern Media, Omsk journalist and eco-blogger, visited Titan-Polymer plant and got acquainted with an eco-project of the enterprise. A three-day trip to the Pskov region for the Eco-School participant was organized by Titan Group.

German Petrushko, General Director of the enterprise, explained to the visitor latest eco-friendly production technologies: most modern solutions of the waste-free production are included in the PET-chips processing technology already at the design stage.

Another important part of the trip was a visit to the forest park in Korytovo, where Titan-Polymer is going to create an eco-space. "This is a real forest literally 10 minutes away from the city center. There are blueberries, wild raspberries, hedgehogs, hares, and locals even saw a roe deer. The only thing this wild place lacks is a bit tidying-up and signposting. We discussed creation of eco-trails and shared ideas how to make ecotourism more attractive, how to make already existing objects in the park more comfortable and at the same time not to harm nature too much,"said Tatyana in her blog. She would like to visit the new tourist route in Pskov in Korytovo forest.

During her stay in Pskov Tatyana visited Pskov Kremlin, some observation platforms and, of course, she went to Pushkinskiye Gory.  "This trip was a real inspiration for me. I visited the village of Mikhailovskoye, walked the same paths that the great Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin walked, visited his cottage, his study. What the hell! I breathed that very air. I paid my respect to Pushkin on his grave in the Svyatogorsk Monastery of the Assumption and visited the church," wrote Tatiana in her blog.

The free educational program of Eco-School was launched in Omsk for journalists and authors of different ages. Participants attend lectures and expert-led master-classes, visit enterprises and specially protected areas of the Omsk region. Tatiana Masterskykh was chosen by Titan Group at the end of the first training course and awarded with a trip to Pskov and to Moscow to improve her professional skills.
