Titan-Polymer again supports contest Clean Pskov

Titan-Polymer plant became a partner of the Clean Pskov contest for urban land improvement and green space expansion. The city authorities together with PLN (the Pskov Broadcaster) and support of Titan-Polymer Plant, member of Titan Group, launched a contest for pro-active citizens who want to take part in urban beautification.

You can apply till April, 24 in the following categories: Urban Yard, Retail Area, Industrial Facility Area, Social Facility Area. From April, 25 till April, 30 the contest committee will visit and examine all objects and from May, 1 till May, 10 winners of "People's Choice Award" will be chosen via internet-voting in each category.

Last year Titan-Polymer Plant contributed his share to the contest as well. The enterprise provided seedlings, equipment for clean-up days and contest prizes for winners. Staff members of the plant personally plant greenery in the city. In the public garden near the overpass on the Oktyabrsky avenue about 60 young chestnut trees, birches, lilacs and thuja trees were planted. Eco-activists, people from neighborhood and students of Pskov State University joined this initiative.

"A big part of our staff team is from Pskov. They love their city and want to make it more comfortable, clean, cozy and beautiful. The city contest for urban beautification is a good tradition, which should be supported in every possible way. Clean Pskov contest has many points in common with our corporate project EcoSaturday. They both pursue the same: create an environmental awareness and implement eco-savings habits in everyday life of everyone of us," - told Snezhanna Ermolaeva, Director of Communications of Titan-Polymer. On April, 6 a round table dedicated to the start of contest Clean Pskov was broadcasted live on radio PLN FM.

Everyone is welcome to become a part of this initiative, from a single person to an institution. Residents of Pskov, educational, sports, health, cultural and social institutions, private households, retail and industry enterprises can join contest Clean Pskov.

Each application will be published on the website of PLN. The text of the resolution and the terms and conditions of the contest are available on the website of the Pskov City Administration.

Summarizing of the results will be made in the period from May, 11 to May, 13. Award ceremony will take place at the Pskov City Administration (Nekrasova Street, 22) on May, 13.
