Titan-Polymer Plant mastered the release of all major thicknesses on BOPET film with Corona Treatment

Titan-Polymer Plant has mastered the release of all the major thicknesses on BOPET film with the corona treatment, including the thinnest one - 8 microns. The factory's Commercial Director Maxim Filippov announced this on May 25 during the teleconference dedicated to the Day of Chemist.

Pskov Titan-Polymer Plant participated in the All-Russian marathon with the chemical industry enterprises by the Day of Chemist. The teleconference was initiated by the Russian Chemists Union and was held as a live TV broadcast, bringing together a number of Russian chemical industry enterprises and organizations and related industries from Transbaikalia, Siberia, Privolzhye (the Volga Region), Central and Western Russia, including enterprises of Titan Group of Companies.

On behalf of Titan-Polymer Plant staff Maxim Filippov congratulated representatives of Russian chemical industry on the up-coming professional holiday - Day of Chemist.

"We would like to wish you new achievements, inventions and professional advances. We also wish success in the implementation of the most complicated tasks, fulfillment of plans, and achievement of the most ambitious strategic goals. And especially we are wishing health and prosperity to all those wonderful people who are the backbone of this most important industry for our country," he added.

"At present day, our plant is running, gaining production capacity, and mastering new product types. The test process of our film is underway in a variety of industries," noted Maxim Filippov.

"We have mastered the output of all primary thicknesses on BOPET film with the corona treatment, including the thinnest - 8 microns, which is a confirmation of our equipment's high capabilities. In the near future we intend to produce more advanced films: with chemical coating and twist effect, including metallization on their grounds," explained Andrey Pirozhkov, the Head of Production.

"We have achieved all the parameters stated in our specifications for today's products, which are in line with those of the world's BOPET manufacturers. And we have already received favorable conclusions from the insulation material manufacturers, who additionally confirmed the compliance of our film with the breakdown voltage requirements," said Natalia Abramova, the Head of Laboratory for the BOPET film at Titan-Polymer Plant.

Moreover, during the live video broadcast, Titan-Polymer displayed a promotional reel about the plant's production.
