Titan-Polymer Plant was assessed as a promising base for the industrial cluster formation

Natalia Yushko, Acting General Director of the Moglino Special Economic Zone of an industrial and production type visited the construction site of an anchor resident of the SEZ - Titan-Polymer Plant. The main purpose of her visit is to assess the prospects for the localization of small and medium-scale enterprises of Pskov region in the scientific and technological cluster system. Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov region instructed to work out this issue.

The Acting General Director of the Moglino SEZ examined process areas of the plant, which include customs control zone, storage for finished products, and the main production building. The excursion over the construction site was conducted by German Petrushko, General Director of the Titan-Polymer Plant.

The General Director of the plant told that the main production building structure connected with of BOPET manufacturing was designed using innovative technologies. During the building construction, new engineering solutions are used: the workshop is equipped with an internal funicular, Italian Bonfanti conveyor system and modern air supply system.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the implementation of a large investment project - the development of transport infrastructure, provision of production with energy and electricity, erection of related infrastructure within the framework of the second stage creation of the Moglino SEZ.

“At present, the main production building construction is underway, main process equipment for the BOPET film production is being supplied. About 100 vehicles with specialized imported equipment have already been delivered to the construction site, and about 200 more vehicles will have arrived by the end of the year. It is planned to start the equipment installation in July,” explained German Petrushko.

The General Director of Titan-Polymer Ltd remarked that 3.8 billion rubles were invested in the project, and more than 1 billion of which were already spent. The first line for the BOPET film production will have started to operate in test mode by the end of 2020. In July, the company will start to employ the personnel: about 130 blue-collar workers will be required to ensure the first line operation. Later, personnel will be required to operate the second production line.
