Titan-Polymer presented Pskov region in telethon to celebrate Chemist's Day

Titan-Polymer plant took part in the telethon together with the other enterprises of chemical industry to celebrate the Chemist's Day. All-Russian teleconference bridge organized by Russian Chemists' Union was held in the form of live broadcast and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization. The Union consists of hundreds of enterprises and organizations of Russian chemical and related industries, including Titan Group.

Over 100 enterprises from Transbaikal, Siberia, Volga region, Central and Western Russia participated in the team of the Russian Chemists' Union.

Andrey Mikheev, the chairman of committee on economic development and investment policy of the Pskov region and German Petrushko, General director of Titan-Polymer Ltd. presented the Pskov region along with the other enterprises of the western region.

Mr. Petrushko used Titan-Polymer plant as the example and highlighted the importance of the enterprise for development of polymer processing branch. "Despite the difficult economic situation, the implementation of our project continues. The first stage of the project - construction of the industrial complex for production of BOPET films - is in its final stage. We have already invested over 8.5 billion rubles into this project and created 300 employment positions. This year we are going to launch two lines for the production of BOPET-films with a capacity of up to 72 thousand tons per year," said Petrushko. Such projects will strengthen domestic chemical industry and make it the leading engine of the national economy.

Mr. Petrushko congratulated his colleagues on the main professional holiday - the Chemist's Day, and wished all the participants positive, daring experiments, new useful discoveries and promising future.
