Titan-Polymer supported creation of the memorial "Origin of the Victory Banner" in Idritsa

The plant Titan Polymer (member of the Titan Group) helped to realize the creation of the memorial sign "Origin of the Victory Banner" in the Idritsa settlement of Sebezhsky district. The monument will be installed near the federal highway M-9 "Baltia".

The creation of this memorial in the Pskov region is a sign of gratitude to ancestors and an example to future generations. It is a very special symbol of pride, honor, dignity and unity of the people of the Great Power, who won that terrible war. “There is no doubt that such initiatives are worth supporting and the business society should consider its financial contribution,” said General Director of Titan-Polymer German Petrushko.

The nation-wide fundraising for the memorial sign was launched in May on the initiative of Mikhail Vedernikov, the governor of the Pskov region, with the support of the charity foundation "Saint Olga, Equal-to-the-Apostles ". The draft of the memorial sign was chosen at the end of an all-Russian art competition. The monument will be six stories high.

We shall remind you that on May 1, 1945 the name of the small village of Idritsa in Sebezhsky district went down in history when the assault flag of Idritsa Rifle Division was raised on the roof of the Reichstag building in Berlin.
