Installation of the first line for the BOPET film production has started at the Titan-Polymer Plant

German specialists of Dornier company have started the installation of the first line for the BOPET film production. We remind that the German company Dornier is the main supplier of equipment for Pskov Titan-Polymer Plant.

“The creation of the main building for the BOPET film production is now being completed. In general, the project implementation is within the schedule, despite the fact that a number of works have to be performed remotely. We have already started the equipment installation, which is made by representatives of the German company Dornier. In the near future we wait for representatives of an Italian company, which equipment will be installed at the plant. They will come as soon as the epidemiological conditions allow, but in the meantime, they consult us remotely,” said German Petrushko, General Director of the Titan-Polymer Plant.

All Dornier equipment is fully automated and distinguished by a high energy efficiency.

Dornier has implemented over 160 of these complex projects for the fabrication, supply, installation and commissioning of biaxially oriented lines. Possessing three corporate divisions, high-tech equipment and special composite systems, the German company Dornier has established itself as a global leader in the engineering and manufacture of process lines for the production of thin and ultra-thin polymer and polyester films.

Beside the packaging industry, these films are used in high-tech products such as semiconductors, capacitors for hybrid vehicles, film displays in mobile phones and flat screens, carbon fabrics for composite structures, and aramid fabrics for fire-resistant or bullet-proof applications. Dornier systems also represent an optimum tool for the production of the finest pure silk fabrics, intricate jacquards and the most delicate worsted tissues.
