Italian companies make installation of equipment at Titan-Polymer plant

Construction work are continued at Titan-Polymer plant’s site in the Moglino special economic zone. 6.5 billion rubles were invested in the project, more than 100 out of the planned 500 jobs were created. The BOPET production is planned to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of this year. The design plants capacity is 72 thousand tons of BOPET film per year.

On the territory of the enterprise, German and Italian specialists perform works connected with the installation of process equipment for the BOPET film production. Representatives of the German company Dornier continue to install the first BOPET film production line. The specialists of the Italian company Lorandi are completing the silo installation.

Maurizio Maniscalco, Lorandi silo erection and installation foreman, remarked that work is underway in order to install prefabricated silos. “Pellets will be stored here. Then they will be transported along the main pipe to the pipeline, where finished products will be created from them. The equipment line used in the production is of the highest level. This is a huge plus for the company,” added Maurizio Maniscalco.

German Petrushko, General Director of the plant remarked that in the near future representatives of the Italian company Bonfanti Srl will arrive at the site of the plant, who will supervise the installation of the equipment.

“The Italian company Bonfanti Srl is a world known manufacturer of cranes, ramps and loading platforms. The software supplied by Bonfanti Srl will optimize technological processes of cutting and metallization of films, as well as fully control the automated process of moving and packaging finished products,” emphasized German Petrushko.

This equipment is designed in strict compliance with European standards to improve the machinery safety, in particular, it complies with the “Essential requirements for safety and health protection” specified in the European directive. The unified transport and loading system is designed to work with two BOPET lines and two metallizers.
