Members of the Federation Council gave a high rating to Titan-Polymer plant in Pskov

The course of construction of Pskov Titan-Polymer plant was highly appreciated by the Federation Council delegation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, having made a working visit to Pskov region.

The main objective of the visit was to monitor the implementation of measures of the individual program of social and economic development of Pskov region for the period 2020 - 2024, which was approved by the Russian government.

Russian senators inspected the Moglino site, familiarizing themselves with the plant’s construction work progress. At the Moglino-2 site, works are underway connected with the infrastructure construction - they make connection of water, gas, electricity, communication networks and sewerage.

After visiting Titan-Polymer plant, the delegation of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation participated in a working meeting with the participation of Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov region.

The head of the region said that in the year 2020 over one billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of 27 activities of the program, most of the funds were allocated for the second stage of the Moglino Special Economic Zone. The governor is also sure that the plant will triple the economic effect in the region.

First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy Yuri Fedorov noted that the senators positively assessed the Moglino SEZ.

Speaking about the anchor resident of the Moglino SEZ – Titan-Polymer plant, the Governor Mikhail Vedernikov remarked that it gave a serious and unique impetus for industrial cooperation in the region. “The economic effect can grow threefold,” - said the region’s head.
