Titan-Polymer investment project implementation was discussed at the Ministry of Industry and Trade

Alexey Bezprozvannykh, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia held a working meeting with Mikhail Vedernikov, Governor of Pskov region and Mikhail Sutyaginsky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group of companies Titan.

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the course of works connected with the infrastructural support development of the Moglino-2 area, which would become one of the most important investment points in the region within the framework of the Individual program of social and economic development.

At present, on the territory of the second stage of the Moglino SEZ the construction and installation works are underway regarding power supply networks and structures, water supply and sewerage networks, communication networks, gas supply and gas distribution networks in order to ensure the timely connection of the anchor resident – Titan-Polymer Ltd to the entire required infrastructure.

The production technology is a unique one for Russia and it is one of the most energy efficient. It is characterized by low raw material consumption, flexibility and simplicity of maintenance, and requires minimal floor space.

The project will have been completely implemented by the year 2023, it is planned to invest 19 billion rubles in it, create more than 500 new jobs (more than 2500 in related industries). In addition to the Russian Federation regions, the potential sales markets for PET and BOPET films are represented by the CIS states, Eastern and Western Europe.
At the present moment, the first stage of Titan-Polymer project is underway - the construction of the BOPET film production plant.
